Mural at Ikigai
(Madrid, SP)

Mural made at the Japanese traditional food restaurant Ikigai in Madrid. Following the spirit of the restaurant I decided to take folk motifs of the most traditional Japanese imagery and reformulate them into something simple and up to date. A geisha that could be an interpretation of the goddess Amaterasu, a frog who brings fortune on the back of a goldfish… and the magic breath of a frog dressed in a working kimono.
